​​Learning and Wellbeing at the College

St Bonaventure’s College provides high-quality Catholic education, guided by the charism of St Francis of Assisi. Through a holistic educational experience, the College seeks to renew and empower students, staff, and parents in the Church’s ministry, complementing the role of the Brisbane Archdiocese.

Recognising families as the first educators, the College fosters a partnership to help all community members grow in their knowledge and love of God and embrace the Gospel.

The structure of the College is guided by, and aligned with the Australian Curriculum and Assessment Authority (ACARA) phases of learning from Prep – Year 10 and the Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) for the Senior Phase of Year 11 and Year 12:​

St Bonaventure’s College prioritises Literacy and Numeracy enhancement and extension for all students.

In addition to the Literacy and Numeracy focus within the learning and teaching activities in the classroom, supported by classroom teachers and in-class school officers, the College is proud to offer two significant volunteer-based programs enhancing Literacy and Numeracy.
